Derrike Cope Racing is extremely pleased to welcome Military Missions in Action (MMIA) aboard our No. 70 Chevrolet Camaro for the Powershares QQQ 300 at Daytona. Founded by Mike Dorman, a veteran himself, MMIA has devoted their efforts to help veterans with disabilities achieve independent living, as well as supporting our service men and women serving in combat areas and their families.
With programs such as “Operation Building Hope,” where MMIA modifies disabled veterans homes to suit their needs, they do everything for the wellbeing of every individual. Unlike many large charities, MMIA takes only 7% of the funds from every dollar for administrative costs, meaning 93% of the funds are used to assist our service men and women, who need it greatly.
With many events, including their annual “Tee-Off For The Troops” golf tournament, there are many ways for the community to get involved in Military Missions in Action. To learn more, or to volunteer or donate, visitmilitarymissionsinaction.org.
