Kasey Kahne, driver of the No.5 Great Clips Chevrolet, is giving his fans the chance to vote for the paint scheme they like the most. The drawings of Kahne’s car were all drawn by young cancer patients that are currently battling cancer at a children’s hospital in Seattle.
The contest is a part of The Drive, and Great Clips has teamed up with Seattle Children’s hospital to help them celebrate their creativity. The patients are all fighting some form of cancer and are benefiting from money raised from the event, which was founded by Kahne as well as Seattle Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson.
The patients were all given the chance to design the No. 5 Great Clips Chevrolet for the NASCAR Sprint cup race at Daytona International Speedway on July 2nd. Great Clips provided crayons for those who chose to participate and encouraged them to be as creative as they wanted to as well as to express themselves
The top-four designs were personally chosen by Kahne himself. Now they want America to help selecting the winning design.
