In the Practice 7, which is the final practice before the last day of qualifications for the 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Alexander Rossi, driver of the No. 98 Napa Auto Parts Honda, was fastest with the speed of 230.064.
Josef Newgarden, driver of the No. 21 Preferred Freezer Chevrolet, was second fastest with the speed of 229.906.
Teammates Will Power and Juan Pablo Montoya both in Verizon Chevrolets, were third and fourth fastest with the speeds of 229.797 (Power) and 229.714 (Montoya). Scott Dixon, driver of the No. 9 Target Chevrolet, was fifth fastest with the speed of 229.501.
Rounding out the top-10 was Takuma Sato, Tony Kannan, JR Hilderbrand, Ed Carpenter and Townsend Bell.
