At the end of a hugely successful fourth edition of the American SpeedFest, NASCAR Whelen Euro Series and Brands Hatch Circuit announced they signed a 6-year contract extension confirming NWES as the event’s headliner until at least 2022 and SpeedFest as one of the most important American-themed events in Europe.
“In four years, the American SpeedFest in Brands Hatch featuring the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series has become one of the best and most entertaining racing events in Europe. We are very happy with this long term partnership with MSV,” said NASCAR Whelen Euro Series President / CEO. “We share the same strong will to offer the fans the best possible experience with thrilling action on track and great animation all around to make Brands Hatch the 51st state of the USA during this weekend. So race fans, save the date, early June, for the next six years for your NASCAR Whelen Euro Series American Speedfest at Brands Hatch!”
The NWES machines once again put on an exceptional show for the fans at SpeedFest IV with four exciting races across the weekend, featuring plenty of fender-to-fender battles from a high quality grid and they will continue to do so until at least SpeedFest X. The NASCAR action will be surrounded by an extensive selection of themed on and off track shows at SpeedFest each year, with car displays, stunt shows, appearances from star cars, and much more, in a winning formula attracting tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans.
“I’m delighted to confirm that the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series will remain as the headline championship at American SpeedFest until 2022,” said Brands Hatch Motorsport Events Manager David Willey. “The NWES has put on a great show for us at every SpeedFest so far and it’s great to continue our association with the world-famous NASCAR brand. This is an event that we all love working on at Brands Hatch and we already can’t wait to put on an even bigger and better show at SpeedFest V in 2017!”
