For the second straight Ontario Pro Challenge event in a row, it was Kyle Batty picked up the victory.
The first heat didn’t start off cleanly with Rick Seely spinning with two laps to go, leaving Ken Lillycrop nowhere to go but to make contact. Peter Hattin picked up the win ahead of Bryan Stevanus, Lillycrop and Tim Batty.
Kyle Batty won the second heat ahead of Tim Norris, Patrick Freel, Larry Majurery and Dean Provonost.
Lilycrop won the third heat ahead of Hattin, Stevanus and Tim Batty.
Kyle Batty went for the daily double, winning the fourth heat ahead of Freel, Norris, Majurery and Provonost.
Come the feature, it was Peter Hattin taking the early lead ahead of Seely and Kyle Batty as Majurery battled side-by-side with Freel for fourth. Batty then got alongside Seely for second, taking the spot on Lap 4 as Majurery got ahead of Freel. Batty’s climb to the front was complete a lap later as he passed Hattin to take over the race lead.
Kyle Batty now led ahead of Hattin and Seeley as Freel moved into fourth ahead of Majurery. Stevanus then got alongside Majurery for fifth, completing the pass a lap later. Freel then got by Seeley for third as Norris moved up into fifth ahead of Stevanus and Majurery.
Freel kept moving forward, passing Hatin for second, with Seeley getting alongside to follow him through as Stevanus got off the track a little – getting back on track without issue. Seeley got third, bringing Norris through with him. Norris then got alongside Seeley for third, passing him a lap later.
Kyle Batty led the rest of the way to pick up the win ahead of Patrick Freel, Tim Norris, Rick Seeley, Peter Hattin, Ken Lillycrop, Larry Majurery, Tim Batty, Bryan Stevanus and Dean Provonost.
