The always fan favorites, the Carolina Vintage Series, roared into Williamston, SC at Anderson Motor Speedway Saturday July 30th. These classic cars always put on a great show and race each other as hard as they can.
Johnny O’Neil led the field to the green flag with Danny Toney starting on the outside. O’Neil pulled away to a three car lead and even at times to a straight away ahead of the field. However, Toney turned on his after burners and began to reel down O’Neil for the lead. Once he caught him, they both battled hard not giving a inch.
Despite how hard Toney tried, O’Neil barely held off Toney for the win. Troy Burgess finished third, followed by Raymond Sams and Phil Terry.
