On Sunday afternoon, Bryan Clauson’s family posted an update on his Facebook page. Clauson was severely injured Saturday night during the Belleville Nationals midget race at the Belleville High Banks in Wichita Kansas.
After the horrific wreck the Noblesville, Indiana native was airlifted to Bryan Medical Center West located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The three-time Indy 500 starter remains in critical condition and is under the continuing care of their medical staff.
The family states they appreciate the support from everyone in the racing community and are thankful for the outreach they have received but are asking for continued respect of their privacy so they can focus on their son.
