Driving a borrowed car, Shawn Chenoweth led flag-to-flag at Flamboro Speedway en route to scoring the victory in the Thunder Car feature.
Chris Howse started pole, followed by Andrew Robertson, Shawn Chenoweth, Hudson Nagy, Kelsey Lamont, Bobby Mercer, Brad Collison, A.J. Miller and Adam Misener.
Chenoweth made his move right from the drop of the green flag, getting alongside Howse for the lead on Lap 1. He then took sole procession of the top spot on Lap 2 with Howse running second ahead of Robertson. Robertson was able to get alongside Howse for second at Lap 3, though unable to complete the pass.
Behind them, it’d be Collison and Nagy side-by-side for fourth. Collison was able to clear Nagy, getting alongside Howse for third at Lap 5. Nagy now ran fifth ahead of Mercer and Lamont. Collison was able to complete the pass on Lap 7, bringing Nagy through with him to move up to fourth.
With eight laps on the board, Chenoweth led Robertson, Collison, Nagy, Howse, Mercer, Lamont, Misener and Miller. Collison then got alongside Robertson for second at Lap 10, completing the pass a lap later, bringing Nagy through for third. Behind them, Mercer was able to get by Howse for fourth at Lap 18 as they worked their way pass the lap car of Miller.
Shawn Chenoweth picked up the win ahead of Brad Collison, Hudson Nagy, Andrew Robertson, Bobby Mercer, Chris Howse, Adam Misener, Kelsey Lamont and A.J. Miller.
