Their first year of sponsorship in NASCAR hasn’t come to a close yet, and Can-Am is already wanting more.
BRP’s Can-Am brand will return to Go Fas Racing for the next two years as one of the team’s primary partners. They will sponsor the No. 32 in all 36 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races next year, and be the team’s primary sponsor in 13 of those races.
“BRP’s successful experience to date on the NASCAR circuit in 2016 has been an important asset in our North American growth plan for the Can-Am brand,” said Anne Bélec, SVP Global Brand, Communications and PAC at BRP.“It has helped the brand gain greater visibility through NASCAR’s millions of North American spectators annually, and get closer to our consumers and their riding communities.”
In addition to their renewal of Go Fas sponsorship, the company will continue their multi-race entitlements with NASCAR. Can-Am will sponsor the Can-Am Duel at Daytona again to kick off the season as well as the Can-Am 500 at Phoenix International Raceway in the Sprint Cup Series. The company will also take on two races in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series as they return to sponsor Les 50 tours Can-Am in Trois-Rivieres, and add the Can-Am 200 during the Honda Indy Toronto weekend.
In addition to their sponsorship of Go Fas Racing in the Sprint Cup Series, Can-Am is also the primary partner on Go Fas’ sister team, Go Fas Racing Canada in the Pinty’s Series. Can-Am is expected to continue in that role in the Pinty’s Series as well.
