It was announced on August 23 hhgreg will be under a multi-year partnership with reigning Indianapolis 500 champions Andretti Autosport, and that they will serve not only as a lead, co-primary sponsor for the Marco Andretti on his No.27 Honda livery in the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series, but as a sponsor team-wide appearing on all Andretti Autosport IndyCar liveries as well.

HHGreg started their partnership with Andretti Autosport in 2016, which started off during the month of May at the Iconic 100th Running of the Indianapolis 500. The leading appliances, electronics and furniture retailer will continue to serve as the primary sponsor on Andretti’s livery for both the Grand Prix of Indianapolis as well as the 101st Indy 500. This is extended partnership with hhgreg also means Andretti will return to Andretti Autosport for his 11th year in the Verizon IndyCar Series.

This announcement comes not too long after hhgreg’s announcement for them opening 25-30 Fine Line specialty stores within the next 24 months. With the help of the Andretti brand as well as the IndyCar racing demographics, it will help target any Fine Line customers. The company will serve as the primary paint scheme on Andretti’s car during the many IndyCar races that will coincide with Fine Line markets and to entertain their most loyal partners and clientele.
