For the final practice for the INDYCAR Grand Prix at Watkins Glen International saw six Chevrolets and four Hondas where in the top-10.
The top spot went to Scott Dixon, driver of the No. 9 Target Chevrolet, with a time of 1:22.8008. Following him second was Will Power, driver of the No. 12 Verizon Chevrolet, with a time of 1:22.8546.
Third went to Spencer Pigot, driver of the No 20. Ed Carpenter Racing Chevrolet, with a time of 1:23.0808.
The fastest Honda was Jack Hawksworth, driver of the No. 41 ABC Supply car, with a time of 1:23.1733.
Rounding out the top-five was Mikhail Aleshin, driver of the No. 7 Schmidt Peterson Racing Honda with a time of 1:23.1918.
Sixth through tenth were as follows: Max Chilton, Graham Rahal, Charlie Kimball, Sebastien Bourdais and Alexander Rossi.
There was one incident during the session when Josef Newgarden, driver of the No. 21 Fuzzy’s Chevrolet crashed in turn 7.
