It seems everything is rolling in the right direction for Cameron McGlashan and team as they picked up their second top-five of the season this past weekend.
McGlashan started off the night solidly, finishing fifth in his heat, followed by a ninth place finish in the Dash for Cash.
Starting near the front for the feature, McGlashan escaped early trouble ahead of him to run fourth with three laps on the board. McGlashan got a good restart, running side-by-side with JP Rosevaar for third, but eventually slipped back to fifth over the next couple of laps. He’d then fall back to sixth at Lap 8, though escaped contact ahead of him between two competitors to put him back up to fifth with 15 laps to go. McGlashan got another good restart, moving up into the fourth spot, though fell back to fifth with three laps to go. He’d cross the line in fifth, marking his second top-five of 2016.
