By The Numbers: OSCAAR Pro Midgets

When the formation of the OSCAAR Pro Midgets was announced, there were some whom were skeptical about how things would play out. However, with a successful debut season behind them including action from May thru October, it’s clear it was a successful endeavor.

After all the laps were laid down, Ted Greenwood got to call himself the inaugural series champion. However, he wasn’t the only driver who surprised fans and/or racked up numbers.

Let’s take a look back at the season by looking at how the numbers tallied together.

point was all Wally Wilson beat Ted Greenwood by to win the RTR – Sirius 167 Hard Charger Award

No. 2h driven by Daniel Hawn had a great debut at the Flamboro Speedway season finale, scoring a heat win and a runner-up in the feature.

No. 25 driven by Glen Blaker may have seen his season cut short due to a wreck at Peterborough, but he got to claim a heat victory this season.

30th of July marked the date of Kelly Summers’ first series start, and first career victory at Peterborough Speedway.

img_0033No. 31k driven by Adrian Kemps made his series debut in style at Peterborough Speedway’s Autumn Colours Classic with a victory.

No. 37 driven by Shawn Paul won in his inaugural series start at Flamboro Speedway on June 18.

No. 45 driven by Northcott may not have claimed a feature victory this season, but he posted four podium finishes.

No. 55 driven by Jordan Hanna won in his second career series start at Flamboro on August 6.

No. 81 driven by March may not have won a feature this season, but he won a heat and scored three top-fives en route to a fourth place points results.

No. 84 driven by Brian MacDonald posted a best career finish of third at Peterborough on July 30.

No. 88 driven by James Marche capped off the season on a high with a feature victory at Frostoberfest.
