Martin Truex Jr. paced the field during Friday afternoon’s final practice for tomorrow’s Ford EcoBoost 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Truex ran a quick lap of 30.983 seconds (174.289 MPH). Championship 4 driver Carl Edwards was second with a lap of 174.031 MPH.
Ryan Newman finished third followed by AJ Allmendinger and Chase Elliott.
Matt Kenseth, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano, Tony Stewart, and Jimmie Johnson rounded out the top 10.
Notables include: Kevin Harvick 11th, Kyle Larson 13th, Kyle Busch 14th, Brad Keselowski 15th, Kurt Busch 16th, Ryan Blaney 19th, Austin Dillon 23rd, and Alex Bowman 26th.
Harvick had the fastest 10 lap average during the fifty minute final practice followed by: Larson, Blaney, Austin Dillon, Edwards, Matt DiBenedetto, Keselowski, Jamie McMurray, Johnson, and Hamlin.
