Korbin Forrister – Atlanta Motor Speedway Advance
Great Clips 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway (AMS)
Korbin Forrister looks forward on 2016 NASCAR Trucks Season… After just one start at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Forrister looks to advance his knowledge of wheeling around the mile and half quad oval in Hampton, Georgia this weekend. In 2015, Korbin started 26th and finished the race in 20th, making a solid effort in his Atlanta debut. Despite misfortunes of missing the race from one week ago at the Daytona International Speedway, Forrister is looking forward to buckling in behind the wheel this weekend in his home state of Georgia, increasing his momentum for the 2016 season.
Forrister’s thoughts on Atlanta Motor Speedway… “I am looking forward to Atlanta this week. We had a rough time in Daytona Beach because we rushed to finalize the deal together, and it’s expected to not go out there and be out front being a new team. The guys thrashed hard to get us there and we barely missed it. With the equipment we have and how hard the whole team works, I think we are more than capable with going to Atlanta and having a good showing. We have an excellent engine program that has a lot to with who’s fast at Atlanta, being Daytona was more about the body, and we had no time to go to the wind tunnel. I am ready to get to Atlanta Motor Speedway and capitalize on this weekend. Plus, Atlanta is in the backyard of my hometown so it’s always pretty special to me!”
