“Team Thrilled To Have Continued Support Of X-Treme PH Sports Water”
FORT WORTH, Texas (April 7, 2016) – Following a much needed two-week break, the NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) returns to competition this Friday night at Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300.
For B.J. McLeod and his B.J. McLeod Motorsports (BJMM) team, the short hiatus is exactly what his Mooresville, North Carolina-based team needed to recharge their batteries and prepare for a four-week stretch.
“We’re glad to get back to the track this weekend, but the break was much needed,” said McLeod, who drives the No. 78 Ford Mustang in XFINITY Series competition. “We’re building our team from the ground up and while we’ve made some significant headway, we needed some time away from the track to get our pieces back in order and prepare us for what’s ahead.”
What’s ahead is the 1.5-mile intermediate track of Texas Motor Speedway (TMS). Centered just outside Dallas Fort Worth, the traditional cookie-cutter race track is home to some of the fastest speeds on the circuit, while also producing intense side-by-side action. This weekend, the first night race of the season, McLeod, 32, will make his TMS XFINITY debut.
“I’m looking forward to going back to Texas this weekend,” said McLeod, a native of Wauchula, Florida. “While similar to other mile and a half tracks we venture to throughout the season, Texas Motor Speedway is its own beast. With it being the first night race of the season, it will be crucial for us to make sure we get the car dialed in. We’ll practice mainly during the day, while the final practice will be as similar to how we start on Friday night.
“We’ve worked hard over the past few weeks to go through our cars, check everything and make sure we can do our part on the track. While this is a growing year for us, we still have some great partners that we want to do a good job for and that’s our main priority.”
Returning with the team for the second consecutive race as the primary partner of the team’s No. 78 Ford Mustang is X-Treme PH Sports Water.
Based in West Monroe, Louisiana, X-Treme PH is a high alkaline water that allows for faster absorption into the body’s cells for hydration. The popular refreshment served as an associate marketing partner with the team during the first three XFINITY Series races this season before increasing their role last Saturday at Phoenix.

It’s our goal to go to Texas Motor Speedway this weekend and deliver a solid run for them. We had a heartbreak at Auto Club two weeks ago, so we definitely want to make up for that on Friday night.”
Veteran industry crew chief George (David) Ingram Jr. will call the shots for the No. 78 X-Treme PH Sports Water Ford Mustang for the sixth race of the 2016 NASCAR XFINITY Series season.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge 300 (200 laps / 300 miles) is the sixth of 33 NASCAR XFINITY Series on the 2016 schedule. Practice begins on Thursday, April 7 from 3:00 p.m. – 4:25 p.m. A final practice has been etched in from 6:00 p.m. – 6:55 p.m. Qualifying is set for race day, Friday, April 8 beginning at 3:45 p.m. The 40-car field will take the green flag shortly after 7:30 p.m. with live coverage on FOX Sports 1 (FS1), the Performance Racing Network (Radio) and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio (Satellite Radio, Channel 90).
