Many reports have indicated Daniel Suarez has secured a ride in the NASCAR Cup Series driving the No. 96 for Gaunt Brothers Racing. While, there are many sources reporting this information, it must be noted neither Suarez or the team have confirmed the information.
The No. 96 car has been driven by Parer Kilgerman on 14 races last season. Drew Herring also piloted the car at Homestead.
Gaunt Brothers Racing will be the third Cup Series team for which Suarez has driven. Suarez drove for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2017 and 2018 and for Stewart-Haas Racing in 2019.
Suarez has amassed 108 career starts scoring eight top-fives and 32 top-tens.
