Sauble Speedway releases 2014 tentative schedule

Fans can officially start making their plans for 2014 as tracks begin to release their schedules. Sauble Speedway has joined the list of Ontario tracks releasing their schedules as they have their 2014 tentative schedule posted.

After a successful 2013 season across the board, Sauble Speedway once again returns with their weekly line-up of Late Models, Thunder Cars, 4 Cylinders and Jr. Late Models. Sauble announced that they will no longer have the Street Stocks as part of their 2014 line-up.

“We have dropped the class for a few reasons, but one reason is they are getting closer to thunders & lack of show in class,” a track representative posted on the track’s facebook page. “Hopefully a lot of the SS’s will move up giving us a fuller & better thunder class.”

The 2014 schedule includes many highlights that will keep fans thrilled all year long.

Sauble has once again teamed up with Sunset Speedway for the “Home to Home” series. The series will feature Sunset Speedway’s line-up of late models, super stocks and mini stocks joining Sauble’s late models, thunder cars and 4 cylinders at Sauble Speedway on July 12th. Then on July 26th, Sauble’s cars will head to Sunset Speedway for a show. Though while they’re gone, do not miss the action at Sauble Speeedway as Sauble plays host to the OSCAAR Super Late Models and OSCAAR Modifieds. OSCAAR has announced the coveted ‘Rick Wooler Memorial’ will be run as per the OSCAAR Mod show.

Sauble also has brought back their coveted ‘Dash for Cash’ invitational, taking place on Wednesday July 30th.

The Lucas Oil Sportsman Cup Series will bring their battle to the beach on June 7th.

The Ontario Pro Challenge Series returns to Sauble on June 14th.

The Hurricane Midgets will return on June 28th and August 2nd. The August 2nd will also feature the Cam-Am Midgets. The Cam-Am Midgets actually have a double header, with a date on August 3rd running alongside the Open Late Model 150.

The ever-popular Canadian Vintage Modifieds make a pair of appearances  – July 5th and August 23rd

Kids will have the opportunity to take the track on June 21st and August 9th with the Kid’s Bicycle Races.

The 2014 season will conclude on August 30th with championship night.

With a top-tier line-up from May till August, look for 2014 to bring excitement at the beach.
