Ken Schrader Racing announced today that Matt Tifft would be sponsored by Wisconsin based Merrell Food Group’s Crunch ‘N Nutter in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards and NASCAR K&N Pro Series East division.
“I’m so thankful for the opportunity to race with Ken Schrader Racing, Inc. this season and to combine it with my love of the Crunch ‘N Nutter product makes it even sweeter,” Matt Tifft said. “I’m looking forward to spreading the word about the product and creating more demand for Crunch ‘N Nutter. I know we have the transporter stocked full and the guys on the team are already hooked!”
The 17-year-old that started racing in 2007 in go-karts, announced earlier this year that he would run a part-time schedule for KSR. Tifft made a pair of ARCA starts last year, finishing fifth at Toledo Speedway in May.
“Partnering with Matt Tifft and Ken Schrader Racing, Inc. is a great opportunity to help build our brand Crunch ‘N Nutter throughout the racing community,” President and CEO of Merrell Food Group, Caleb Opalewski said. “Matt is an exceptional young man and has a lot of future potential. This is a fantastic opportunity for him to work with a stock car auto racing legend like Ken and the entire Ken Schrader Racing, Inc. team. We hope to help him move up as we continue to grow.”
