After a successful season last year in Delaware Speedway’s Demar Aggregates Trucks Series, Trevor Collver is taking the next step in his career as he moves up to the Super Stock ranks.
“Looking forward to 2014 running Super Stock at Delaware,” he commented. “There are 9 to 10 cars that could win every night. Looking forward to that more than anything. Going to have my work cut out for me.”
Collver added that he feels the Super Stock package at Delaware has stayed as strong as it has due to the lack of rule changes the past couple of years.
“We’re running a new tire this year so that should throw a curve ball,” he added. “But I’m excited.”
Beyond running at Delaware, Collver said that he may also run some invitational this year, including Flamboro as part of the Flamboro/Delaware mini-series. Other possibilities include Sunset and Sauble.
“You can run anywhere and everywhere with the rule package,” he commented.
Collver got his start in micro sprints eight years ago, scoring 10 features wins and the championship in his fourth year. He then moved up into Delaware’s truck series, winning Rookie of the Year followed by the Championship.
“It was a big step up to truck and running a full-size vehicle with fenders,” he commented.
