NASCAR announced today that they have penalized the Nationwide Series No. 99 RAB Racing team a P3 level penalty for violating Sections 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing) and 20A-2.3A (added car weight; improperly attached weight; loss of weight during the event) of the 2014 NASCAR rule book. Crew chief Chris Rice was fined $10,000 and placed on probation till the end of the year, while car chief John Guerra was placed on probation till the end of the year.
James Buescher drives the No. 99 for RAB Racing and currently sits eight in series points, 34 points behind points leader Regan Smith.
