Nick Baumgartner to compete in SST event at X Games Austin

Stadium Super Trucks officials announced earlier this week that Winter X Games Gold Medalist Nick Baumgartner will be competing in the SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Presented by Traxxas event at the X Games Austin.

“I have worked so hard for these opportunities and having my dream of racing the Summer X Games come true is so awesome,” Baumgartner said. “I am so thankful that Henkel and the Loctite® products team believes in me and what I am doing. Without their support I would not be living my dreams and competing to be the best on the snow and in the truck.”

Baumgartner made a SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road start last year, finishing third behind veterans Robby Gordon and Rob MacCachren.

“I am stoked to represent the Winter X Games athletes in Austin,” Baumgartner continued.

Baumgartner will drive the No. 12 Loctite® SPEED Energy Formula Off-Road Presented by Traxxas SST in the event on June 8th.

As part of continuing to grow the series, Robby Gordon brings his stadium super trucks to this year’s X Games event, therefore debuting off road truck racing as an event as part of the games.
