By: Ashley McCubbin – Against the best drivers in the province under one roof, Terry Woodley would put in a very respectable performance as he finished 13th in the Spring Derby 35-lap Mini Stock feature.
Woodley started the afternoon off by finishing sixth in his heat, to therefore start 19th in the 35-lap feature. Woodley began his climb through the field, moving into 16th by the lap three caution for a spin.
Over the course of the next 13 or 14 laps, Woodley kept himself 16th, avoiding trouble and holding off fellow competitors. Woodley would pass a couple cars in the second half of the feature to move himself to 13th, before falling a lap down with three laps to go.
From then on, Woodley held his own ground as he crossed the finish line in the 13th spot.
