Driver of the No. 54 Monster Energy Toyota, Kyle Busch, won the Coors Light Pole Award for the 33rd Annual History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This marks Busch’s second pole award this season out of eight NASCAR Nationwide Series starts with two wins and eight top-5 finishes.
He posted a lap time of 29.493 seconds or 183.094 mph, which was 0.071 of a second faster than the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford of Brad Keselowski.
Kyle Larson, Dylan Kwasniewski, and Kevin Harvick round out the top-five starting positions.
Matt Kenseth will start seventh driving the No. 20 GameStop/Mario Kart Toyota.
Current Nationwide Series points leader, Chase Elliott, will start the race in ninth position driving the NAPA Auto Parts Chevrolet.
The green flag will fall on the 33rd Annual History 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway at 2:45pm local time.
