Green to Pilot No. 14 Camry at Dover: This weekend will mark Jeff Green’s first of five races behind the wheel of the No. 14 Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® Camry. He will then pilot the car at Michigan Int’l Speedway on June 14, Mid Ohio Sports Car Course on August 16, and Richmond Int’l Raceway on September 5. His last scheduled race in the No. 14 Camry is scheduled for September 27 at Dover Int’l Raceway.
No Stranger to the “Monster Mile”: Between the Sprint Cup Series and Nationwide Series, the Owensboro, KY native has raced 38 times at the “Monster Mile”. This weekend’s Buckle Up 200 will be Green’s 24th start at the one-mile track in the Nationwide Series. He has accumulated one win, five top-five, and eight top-10 finishes in his Nationwide Series career at the concrete track. He has an average start of 17.2 and an average finish of 22. He has completed 2,964 circuits and has led 191 laps.
Chassis No. 677: Crew Chief Wes Ward has selected chassis No. 677 for this weekend’s event at Dover Int’l Speedway. This chassis was last driven by Green’s teammate, Eric McClure, at Darlington Int’l Raceway. There, the team posted a 21st-place finish.
Radio Alert: On Saturday morning at 8:00 AM (ET), Green will be talking with Pat Patterson on SiriusXM Channel 90 about the upcoming race and his five race schedule in the No. 14 Camry.
