On Saturday at Dover International Speedway, it was the “Kyle Busch” show as Busch dominated the race, leading 124 laps on his route to victory.
So who will be the OnPitRoad.com Spring Pick ‘Em Champion for the Nationwide Series? Here we go!
Disclaimer: Some of the people had chosen Kevin Harvick in their picks. Turns out – Harvick wasn’t running this race boo-boo. As head of the panel for picks, it is my (Ashley’s) fault that this mistake was made as I had informed everybody that he was one of the double dippers, unaware that JR Motorsports was skipping this race. As a result, anbody who had Harvick will either get the points that Larson earned finishing sixth, or if they have Larson, they get the points that the highest JR Motorsports car got. With it being my mistake, this is the fairest way that I can think to correct it.
The Picks
Ashley McCubbin picked Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick and Chase Elliott – which becomes Busch, Larson and Elliott. Larson would finish a solid sixth, while Elliott bounced back from last week’s poor showing to finish fifth. Points: 48+38+40=126
Tayler Stiles picked Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson. Smith consistency continued as he finished a solid 10th. Points: 40+48+38=129
Kreistina Blinova picked Jeffrey Earnhardt, Landon Cassill and Elliott Sadler. Earnhardt finished 30th, with Cassill in 14th and Sadler ninth. Points: 14+30+35=79
Kyle Magda picked Brad Keselowski, Kyle Busch and Regan Smith. For starters, Keselowski did not run this event as Logano ran the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge so Magda will get the points that Logano earned – which is a beautiful second place finish. Points: 42+48+34=124
Ronald Costigan picked Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch – which becomes Larson, Elliott and Busch. Points: 48+38+40=126
Marshall Gabell picked Chase Elliott, Kyle Busch and Matt Kenseth. Kenseth finished a solid fourth as he keeps the JGR consistency going. Points: 40+48+40=128
Justin Tucker picked Brad Keselowski, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch. For starters, Keselowski did not run this event as Logano ran the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge so Tucker will get the points that Logano earned. Points: 42+48+40=130
Terry Wagner picked Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Brad Keselowski. For starters, Keselowski did not run this event as Logano ran the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge so Wagner will get the points that Logano earned. Points: 42+48+40=130
Christina Cordner picked Brian Scott, Regan Smith and Chase Elliott. Scott continued his string of solid runs, finishing seventh. Points: 37+34+40=111

Now some may argue that those who picked Harvick should not get any points. For your viewing pleasure, here’s the top five if those who had Harvick got credited with 0 rather than the replacement.
- Ashley McCubbin – 723+88=811
- Tayler Stiles – 670+123=799 (-12)
- Billy Zardo – 658+124=782 (-29)
- Terry Wagner – 647+130=777 (-34)
- Ronald Costigan – 673+88=761 (-50)
Therefore, you’d still end up with the same champion – just a smaller points margin.
