So far this season at Sunset Speedway, Jason Witty is having a spectacular year as he currently leads the points with a pair of feature wins on the season. However, the success doesn’t mark a surprise as Witty won six features last year, including a 75-lap feature. However, Witty found himself out of championship contention in 2013 as a result of five DNFs.
Unfortunately, this past Saturday night at Sauble Speedway did not go Witty’s way as he led the first 35 laps of the feature, before being passed by Jason Parker. Then two laps later, the motor blew, resulting in Witty’s first DNF of the 2014 season.
Before racing at Sunset Speedway on July 5th, Witty took the time to answer the 15 “Tracking the Short Tracks” questions. Apologies in advance with regards to the lighting in the video as it didn’t look this bad on the camera lens when I was filming it.
