McClure Looking for Solid Effort at Sponsor’s Home Track: Saturday night’s 300-mile race atChicagoland Speedway will mark Eric McClure’s 242nd-career Nationwide Series start and his 11th at the 1.5-mile speedway. In 10 starts, all of which have come under the Hefty®/Reynolds Wrap® banner, McClure has completed 91.5% of the total laps run and has an average finish of 27.8. His track-best finish of 18th came in 2011. One year ago, with 35 laps remaining, the team was plagued with a flat left rear tire, relegating them to a 28th-place finish.
Chassis No. 12: Crew chief has selected chassis No. 12 for this weekend’s event at Chicagoland Speedway. This chassis was last run at Charlotte Motor Speedway where the team posted a 29th-place finish.
Fun Factoid: Did you know that McClure and his wife Miranda had specific criteria when picking out the names of their five children? The first criterion was that each girl’s name had to start with a letter “M”. Secondly, either their first or middle name had to have an “eigh” in it. Lastly, the name chosen could not have been listed in the top 1,000 most popular names in the five years leading up to their births. With all criteria met, their girls’ names are as follows: Mabreigh Elizabeth, Maryleigh Isabella , Mirabella Rileigh, Merritt Hetteigh Mae, Myanna Brookleigh.

- Saturday, July 19: Toyota Pit Pass (1:00pm – 1:30pm) located in the fan midway at Chicagoland Speedway. McClure and his TriStar Motorsports teammates will be doing a q& a session followed by autographs.
