OPR Staff and Fan Fantasy Picks for NNS and NSCS at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

After a week off, both the Nationwide Series and Sprint Cup Series return in the form of prestige with a trip to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The victor at the end of each day will write their name into the history books, while possibly stepping closer to a championship.

NATIONWIDE SERIES

Ashley McCubbin picked Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch. Both Harvick and Busch are always threats to win when they dabble in the Nationwide Series, and Elliott has been solid this year with there victories under his belt despite being a rookie.

Tayler Stiles did not file her picks so we will use her last week picks, which were Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch. In his sophomore season, Larson has shown a bunch of potential in running strongly.

Kreistina Blinova did not file picks, so we will use her last week picks, which were Jeffrey Earnhardt, Landon Cassill and Elliott Sadler. Sadler has been a consistant front runner each week, while both Cassill and Earnhardt have been getting stronger, posting some solid top 15 performances.

Ronald Costigan picked Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch.

Marshall Gabell picked Brian Scott, Elliott Sadler and and Joey Logano. Logano has ran strong in each Nationwide Series thus far this year, while Scott has been posting top-five finishes on a weekly basis in the series.

Justin Tucker picked Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch.

Kyle Magda picked Brian Scott, Kasey Kahne and Joey Logano.

Terry Wagner did not file his pick so we will use his last week picks –> Chase Elliott, Matt Kenseth and Kyle Busch.

Christina Cordner picked Brian Scott, Regan Smith and Chase Elliott.

Billy Stiles Jr. did not file his picks so we will use his last week picks Austin Theriault, Chase Elliott and Regan Smith which becomes Kevin Harvick, Chase Elliott and Regan Smith.

SPRINT CUP SERIES

Ashley McCubbin picked Kevin Harvick, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Each of these individuals have ran well this year and also is a past winner at Indianapolis. Based on history, they’ll be the ones to watch on Sunday.

Tayler Stiles did not file her picks so we will go with last week’s Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. While Busch hasn’t won Indianapolis, he should be strong this year based on the strength that he and Joe Gibbs Racing are good at.

Kreistina Blinova did not file her picks so we will go last week’s Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt Jr. should be interesting to watch simply based on his past at Indianapolis and how he ran at New Hampshire a couple weeks ago.
