Roush Fenway Racing announced on Wednesday that they have extended their partnership with Zest into the 2015 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season. Zest will serve as a primary sponsor for multiple races on Ricky Stenhouse Jr.’s No. 17 Ford, as well as a season-long associate.
“It’s great to know that the No. 17 team will keep running ‘Zestfully Clean’ next year,” Stenhouse said. “Zest has really been a mainstay on the car for a few years and I always enjoy hearing feedback from fans at the track whenever we race it, because it carries such a unique look and features a truly iconic brand that fans really get excited about.
“I’ve really enjoyed getting to meet and work with everyone that supports the Zest brand, as well as a lot of their customers,” added Stenhouse. “Their commitment and support has meant a great deal to me and my team, and it’s awesome that we’ll be able to continue to build on the success of this partnership going forward.”
Zest is a brand of soap that has been associated with Roush Fenway Racing for the past three seasons.
“Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and his No. 17 Roush Fenway team have been terrific ambassadors on and off track for Zest,” Jim Daniels, president and CEO of High Ridge Brands, owners of the Zest brand, said. “This partnership delivers great value for Zest, and the passion of NASCAR fans is unmatched. It has been a privilege to be able to stand by Ricky, Jack Roush and the entire team as Ricky continues to grow into one of the sport’s marquee drivers.”
In his sophomore season of competition, the 2013 Sprint Cup Series rookie of the year currently sits 27th in points with one top-five and four top-10s in the 20 races thus far this season.
