Kyle Larson was on target for the second time this weekend as he would score the Keystone Light Pole Award for the Pocono Mouintains 150 at Pocono Raceway on Saturday afternoon, after scoring the pole for the Sprint Cup Series race on Friday. For Larson, this marks his first career Camping World Truck Series pole award in eight starts.
Austin Dillon would qualify second for his second top 10 start of the season, while Tyler Reddick posted his best qualifying effort of his career with a third. Rookie Ben Kennedy and Timothy Peters rounded out the top five.
Johnny Sauter qualified sixth, followed by Justin Lofton, Ryan Blaney, Matt Crafton and Clint Bowyer. Bowyer is filling in John Wes Townley following Townley’s wreck in the ARCA Racing Series race yesterday.
Kyle Busch Motorsports has been on a terror as of late and their drivers Erik Jones and Darrell Wallace Jr. would qualify 13th and 15th, respectively.
