After a weekend with prestige on the line, it’s time for some of the drivers to get tricky, while the other drivers take a shot in having a stand-alone event.
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series @ Pocono Raceway
Ashley McCubbin picked Erik Jones and Darrell Wallace Jr. Kyle Busch Motorsports has been on a roll this year in winning all but two of the races thus far this season with their line-up of talented drivers. For that reason, look for both Jones and Wallace to be strong this weekend. Jones is getting stronger with each start, while Wallace will be looking for his third victory of the season.
Tayler Stiles did not file her picks, thus far leaving her with Eldora picks – Ty Dillon and Kyle Larson. Ty Dillon is not entered in this weekend’s event, thus handing her Austin Dillon and Kyle Larson. With their Sprint Cup Series experience, both Dillon and Larson have the experience to do well this weekend. Dillon is also a previous series champion, while Larson has visited Camping World Truck Series victory lane in the past.
Kreistina Blinova did not file her picks so she has Ron Hornaday and John Hunter Nemechek which becomes Ron Hornaday and Joe Nemechek. Both Nemechek and Hornaday are series veterans, whom have both ran strong throughout the season so expect the trend to continue this weekend.
Ronald Costigan picked Erik Jones and Matt Crafton. Crafton is the defending series champion and is consistantly a front runner, minus bad luck when it strikes. If he can avoid ‘ol trusty bad luck, points should be scored with this combination.
Marshal Gabell picked Kyle Larson and Erik Jones.
Justin Tucker picked Kyle Larson and Darrell Wallace Jr.
Kyle Magda picked Ryan Blaney and Kyle Larson. While Blaney hasn’t reached victory lane thus far this season, look for him to run strong this weekend as he has been strong all season. Could Blaney hand Ford their first win of 2014 and break Toyota’s string of success?
Terry Wagner picked Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter. A lot of focus when it comes to ThorSport Racing is on Crafton, however Johnny Sauter should not be counted out. He has led the points the majority of this season with surprise consistency. Perhaps experience is what is needed to do well.
Christina Cordner picked Ryan Blaney and Darrell Wallace Jr.
Billy Stiles Jr. did not file his picks so he will have Ben Kennedy and Ron Hornaday. Kennedy has had a solid rookie season with some highs, and no doubt some rookies lows. It’ll be interesting to see whether the rookie can get tricky enough this weekend.
Robert Hill did not file his picks so he will have Ryan Blaney and Kyle Larson.
Joni Stiles did not file her picks so she will have Erik Jones and Johnny Sauter.
Tyler Sontag did not file his picks so he will have Erik Jones and Matt Crafton.
Jeni Harris picked Timothy Peters and Darrell Wallace Jr. The Toyota discussion this year has centered on ThorSport Racing and Kyle Busch Motorsports. However, in the same breath, Red Horse Racing should not be counted out given their previous success. Peters could sneak up and grab a win this weekend.

NASCAR Nationwide Series at Iowa Speedway
Ashley McCubbin picked Regan Smith, Chase Elliott and Brad Keselowski. The JR Motorsports teammates Smith and Elliott have been front runners all season, sitting in the top two spots in the point standings. Scoring some wins and scoring top 10s weekly, the pair are certain to bring forth another solid run this weekend. On the flip side, victory may be a tough feat as Keselowski is going to complete the double and when he straps in a Nationwide Series car, he normally leads a lot and knows his way to victory lane.
Tayler Stiles did not file her picks so we will use her last week picks, which were Chase Elliott, Kyle Larson and Kyle Busch which becomes Chase Elliott, Dylan Kwasniewski and Sam Hornish Jr. Kwasniewski has had an interesting rookie season with some strong runs, and some days that he has just been, perhaps, over-aggressive. It’ll be interesting to see what side of Kwasniewski were treated to on Saturday night as if he can keep himself in check with his new crew chief, a top 10 could be on the horizon. Flip side, Hornish enters with experience, and an experienced crew. Needless to say, he may repeat the performances that everybody is accustom to Kyle Busch doing in the 54 car.
Kreistina Blinova did not file picks, so we will use her last week picks, which were Jeffrey Earnhardt, Landon Cassill and Elliott Sadler. Sadler has been a consistant front runner each week, while both Cassill and Earnhardt have been getting stronger, posting some solid top 15 performances.
Ronald Costigan picked Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski and Sam Hornish Jr.
Marshall Gabell picked Brian Scott, Chase Elliott and Brad Keselowski. Scott has quickly emerged as a front runner and with teammate Ty Dillon breaking through at Indianapolis, perhaps Scott is the next driver to break through and reach victory lane.
Justin Tucker picked Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski and Sam Hornish Jr.
Kyle Magda picked Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski and Sam Hornish Jr.
Terry Wagner picked Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski and Sam Hornish Jr.
Christina Cordner picked Brian Scott, Trevor Bayne and Sam Hornish Jr. Bayne should be interesting to watch as he has been solid so far thus year, just hasn’t broke through to be “race winning”. Is Iowa the weekend that it happens?
Billy Stiles Jr. did not file his picks so we will use his last week picks Austin Theriault, Chase Elliott and Regan Smith which becomes Josh Berry, Chase Elliott and Regan Smith. Berry will be making his Nationwide Series debut, after running late models over the past years for JR Motorsports. Berry is hoping to bring the car home in one piece with a solid top 15 finish.
Billy Zardo did not file his picks so we will use his last week picks Ty Dillon, Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch which becomes Ty Dillon, Chase Elliott and Sam Hornish Jr. Dillon is coming off of his first career win at Indianapolis, so momentum may propel Papa’s grandson to a second straight victory.
Robert Hill picked Paul Menard, Kyle Busch and Chris Buescher – which becomes Ty Dillon, Sam Hornish Jr. and Chris Busecher. Buescher has been getting stronger with passing week and after posting a quick time during practice today, he may be a darkhorse to watch on Saturday night.
Joni Stiles did not file her picks so we will use her last week picks Ty Dillon, Austin Theriault and Chase Elliott which becomes Ty Dillon, Josh Berry and Chase Elliott.
Tyler Sontag did not file his picks so we will use his last week picks Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch which becomes Chase Elliott, Brad Keselowski and Sam Hornish Jr.
Jeni Harris picked Trevor Bayne, Chase Elliott and Chris Busecher.

Sprint Cup Series @ Pocono Raceway
Ashley McCubbin picked Kasey Kahne, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Four wins in a row at Pocono with four different drivers for Hendrick Motorsports. Each of these drivers has ran well this year. Kahne seems to be just hitting his stride. Gordon is coming off of his Brickyard win. Johnson is good at any time. Needless to say, this may be the magical three-some for the weekend to watch.
Tayler Stiles did not file her picks so we will go with last week’s Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson. Busch hasn’t been the “trickiest” driver in the past, with only seven top 10s in 19 starts at Pocono. However, it seems that Joe Gibbs Racing has got their program turned around so perhaps that means they got the right tricks for the triangle.
Kreistina Blinova did not file her picks so we will go last week’s Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Earnhardt Jr. should be strong with his fellow teammates, given that he won this event back earlier thus year.
Ronald Costigan picked Kyle Busch, Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Marshall Gabell picked Kasey Kahne, Clint Bowyer and Ryan Newman.
Justin Tucker picked Brad Keselowski, Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.

Jeni Harris picked Matt Kenseth, Jeff Gordon and Carl Edwards.
