FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Ready For Final Road Course of the Season: Mike Bliss is looking forward to returning to Mid-Ohio this weekend, where he will make his 700th career NASCAR start. With over 30 starts on road courses, you can call Bliss a road course warrior. Although he only has one start at Mid-Ohio, he has an average starting position of 30.0 and an average finishing position of 17.0. After his 10th place finish at Road America and his 14th place finish at Watkins Glen last weekend, Bliss is ready to take on the 15-turn road course of Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course this weekend.
Bliss’ thoughts on Mid-Ohio: “There’s something about road courses that keeps everything interesting lap-by-lap. I’m really looking forward to our third and final road course of the season. Mid-Ohio is very different than the other two courses we’ve raced this year, so we still need to be on our toes and put our best foot forwad.”
No. 19 Toyota Camry: Crew Chief Paul Clapprood will unload chassis No. 11 for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital 200. This chassis was last run at Watkins Glen International where Mike posted a 14th place finish.
