With each weekend this year, Doug Wilman continues to get stronger behind the wheel as he continues to get his car set-up to his liking. It has been showing on-track with a couple of top-five finishes over the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately, gremlins and bad luck currently have Wilman sitting lower in the point standings than the team would help for.
On Monday evening, Wilman answered the questions that you make up the “Tracking the Short Tracks” series.
Karlie Wilman: How’d you get started in racing?
Doug Wilman: I pit crewed for a guy by the name of Jim Whitney at Barrie
KW: First racing memory.
DW: First night of racing in 1984, brand new car totaled.

DW: Coors Light

DW: 7 was taken so I added 7 to get 14

DW: Don’t have any

DW: Dale Earnhardt Jr – it would be a privilege.
KW: What is life like for you outside of racing?
DW: Hectic – work and family.
