Due to rain, qualifying for the Lucas Oil 225 would be rained out, therefore causing the line-up to be set by Thursday’s final practice speeds. As a result, points leader Johnny Sauter will lead the field to the green flag on Friday night. Sauter enters this weekend with a seven point lead over Matt Crafton, hoping to lock up his first career truck championship.
Brennan Newberry will start second, followed by Jeb Burton, Austin Dillon and Ryan Blaney. Darrell Wallace Jr. will start sixth with Kyle Busch slated to start seventh. However, Busch will have to start from the rear as he missed practice yesterday due to Chase media obligations with Erik Jones practicing in his place. German Quiroga is listed eighth, followed by Matt Crafton and Timothy Peters.
