Ty Dillon outpaces the field in qualifying for the VisitMyrtleBeach300.com NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Kentucky Speedway. Dillon posted a lap of 175.690 mph to score his second Coors Light pole of the season driving the No. 3 Bass Pro Shops Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing.
Dillon edged out Sam Hornish Jr who will start second on Saturday night driving the No. 54 Monster Energy Drinks Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. A seat he shares with Kyle Busch.
Richard Childress Racing definitely has something figured out for Kentucky Speedway. RCR drivers Brendan Gaughan, Cale Conley and Brian Scott also qualified in the top five.
