Following a draw on Friday afternoon, Paul Menard will lead the field to the green flag for the Sprint Unlimited.
The non-points event marks the kick-off for the season, with a total of 75 laps in length split into two segments. The first segment will be 25 laps, with the second segment being 50 laps in length.
The eligible drivers include all 2014 pole winners, Chase drivers and former Daytona 500 pole winners who competed full-time in the Sprint Cup Series. The remaining spots were billed by the drivers highest in the 2014 points standings that were not eligible. Some eligible drivers opted not to compete.
Kasey Kahne will start second, followed by Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski and Kyle Busch.
The drivers got on to the track for a pair of practices to get themselves warmed up for the race on Saturday night.
