China Grove, NC (April 6th, 2015) – Brandon Gdovic will take the next step in his career when he straps into his No. 55 WindStax Chevrolet at Texas Motor Speedway for the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. This Friday’s race will mark the first start in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for the young Virginian.
dovic, 23, cut his teeth short track racing throughout Virginia winning races and championships in INEX Legend Cars, IMCA Modifieds and the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series. Over the past 4 seasons, Gdovic has established himself as a fierce competitor in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. He has accumulated 47 starts in that series, with almost half resulting in a top 10-finish. He scored his first career victory in the K&N Pro Series in 2013 at Greenville-Pickens. Brandon Gdovic has also made starts in the ARCA Racing Series, and is scheduled to compete for this season’s Lamborghini Super Trofeo championship.
