MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 7, 2015) – Richard Petty Motorsports (RPM) and Biagi-DenBeste Racing announced today that they will continue their partnership with Aric Almirola and Sam Hornish Jr. in the Biagi-DenBeste No. 98 Ford Mustang in 10 NASCAR XFINITY Series races this season. Top talents,Almirola and Hornish drove for the team in four races in the XFINITY Series earlier this season.
Hornish will pilot the No. 98 Biagi-DenBeste Racing Ford Mustang at Texas Motor Speedway Friday, April 10 during the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300. He will also run races at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Darlington Raceway, Charlotte Motor Speedway in October and Texas Motor Speedway in November.Almirola will return to the XFINITY Series at the Talladega Superspeedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway in May, Michigan International Speedway in June, Daytona International Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Both Almirola and Hornish are seasoned veterans in the XFINITYSeries and have continued to race at the front of the field each weekend. Hornish is a three-time winner in the XFINITY Series, and Almirola has one win. Both drivers have finished in the Top-Five in the SeriesChampionship. Biagi-DenBeste Racing is an experienced team with one win and numerous Top-10 finishes with various drivers.

The races at Texas and Michigan will be televised live nationally on Fox Sports 1. FOX will showcase the races at Talladega and Charlotte. NBC Networks will broadcast the second half of the season in their return to NASCAR. Daytona and Charlotte will be featured on NBC Sports Network. NBC will air the races from Indianapolis, Darlington, Texas and Homestead. |
