Family-Owned Company Sponsors No. 35 Ford
STATESVILLE, N.C. (April 10, 2015) – Standard Plumbing Supply will go racing with Cole Whitt for Saturday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway, partnering with the No. 35 Ford team for one of the fastest events on the series’ circuit.
The Utah-based company operates wholesale stores at more than 80 locations in eight western states, providing residential and commercial plumbing, heating and cooling, and hydronics products to contractors, cities, states, schools and the public. The family-run company celebrates 63 years of service this year.
“Standard Plumbing Supply is excited to partner with Cole Whitt in his new home at Front Row Motorsports,” said owner and president Richard N. Reese. “We’ve worked with Cole in the past, and we’re happy to be back with him on the No. 35 car.
“Speed is something we like to promise our customers — fast service so they can get back to work to get the job done. We’ve seen plenty of speed out of Cole, too, and we think he, too, can get the job done.”
Whitt enters the Texas Motor Speedway race weekend with three consecutive top-25 finishes with his No. 35 team.
“Texas is the type of track where we’ve had some pretty good success this season, and I think we can have a big night with Standard Plumbing Supply on board,” said Whitt. “It can get exciting for 500 miles under the lights, and it’s cool to have them here as a partner for it.”
Saturday night’s race, the Duck Commander 500, will air live on FOX at 7:30 p.m. ET. Visit standardplumbing.com for more information about Standard Plumbing Supply.
