The NASCAR XFINITY Series off weekend served as a homecoming for Eric McClure as he announced his return to TriStar Motorsports. With a fresh slate, McClure descends on the Iowa race weekend rejuvenated. In his eight previous XFINITY Series starts, McClure has earned six top-25 finishes at the 7/8-mile tri-oval. The Virginia native has turned over 1,900 laps at the track in Newton, Ia. and he has a proven track record of always moving forward.
McClure’s thoughts on Iowa Speedway: “For me, the past two weeks have been a whirlwind for sure! I am really excited to get to Iowa and race hard for my team; and have some fun while I’m at it.
From both the a fan and racing perspective, Iowa [Speedway] is one of the best tracks we visit each year.”
No. 24 Reynolds Wrap® Toyota Camry: Reuniting with Crew Chief Wes Ward, the No. 24 crew will unload chassis No. 52 for the 3M 250.
