David Starr to Make Fifth NXS Start at Charlotte Motor Speedway: David Starr and the No. 44 Zachry team head to Charlotte Motor Speedway this weekend sitting inside the top-15 in driver’s points. Starr has four previous starts at the 1.5-mile oval, with an average starting position of 27.0 and an average finishing position of 23.2. Coming off of a 16th place finish at Iowa Speedway last weekend, Starr is ready to race in the “Queen City” this weekend.
Starr’s thoughts on Charlotte Motor Speedway: “It’s always fun to race in Charlotte over Memorial Day weekend! You need to have a good handling car to get to the front and I’m hoping we can carry forth the momentum from Iowa.”
No. 44 Zachry Camry: Crew Chief Greg Conner and the No. 44 Zachry crew will unload chassis No. 702 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. This chassis’ last run was at Texas Motor Speedway.
