FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Looking to redeem himself in the Queen City:
With a 33rd place finish in Iowa in his rear-view, Eric McClure sets his sights on redemption at Charlotte Motor Speedway. In his previous 13 XFINITY Series starts, McClure has earned five top-25 finishes at the 1.5-mile quad-oval. The 36 year-old XFINITY Series Veteran has turned over 2,200 laps at the track located in the heart of “NASCarolina”. His best start of 23rd came in 2013 and his best finish of 18th was earned in 2009. McClure surely knows a thing or two about getting around Charlotte Motor Speedway.
McClure’s thoughts on Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“In my second race back with TriStar Motorsports I am really looking forward to getting to the track to work with my new crew on the positives from Iowa. Charlotte is always a fun place to drive, but it’s a challenging race. We will work hard to get the best finish possible for the Hefty™ Toyota.”
No. 24 Hefty™ Toyota Camry: Crew Chief Wes Ward and the No. 24 crew will unload chassis No. 121 for the Hisense 300.
