At the end of final practice for the Hisense 300, Ty Dillon would top the charts with a lap of 29.823 seconds.
Dillon is looking for his first win of the season as he tries to capitalize on the consistency that has led to being near the top of the standings thus far this year.
Darrell Wallace Jr. was second, backing up his quick time from the first session, followed by Richard Childress Racing’s Brendan Gaughan and Austin Dillon to place three cars in the top four spots for Childress. Ryan Blaney rounded out the top-five.
Kasey Kahne was sixth quickest in a fourth entry for JR Motorsports, followed by Elliott Sadler, Erik Jones, Aric Almirola and Chase Elliott.
