BROOKLYN, Mich. (June 3, 2015) — We want to hear your #MIStory! Now is your chance to become a part of the experience at Michigan International Speedway and share those race weekend memories.
What is #MIStory? It is a chance for guests of MIS to be featured in the track’s event recap video following the June 14 Quicken Loans 400. MIS wants fans to share their experience preparing for race weekend, camping, partying in Keloorah and enjoying the races.
We will be taking the best videos and photos from race weekend and using them in our post-race recap video! And you might be featured.
“We are excited to announce #MIStory,” track President Roger Curtis said. “The race fans are what it takes to make a race weekend memorable. They’re the ones who make the fan experience legendary. Now the fans are able to share their own race experience at MIS and be a part of our story.”
Share, share and share some more! Just use the hashtag #MIStory on all of your favorite social media channels and you may become a part of our story!
And there will be plenty to share on race weekend!
NASCAR race fans and music festival fans both will have reasons to celebrate this summer at Michigan International Speedway. Keloorah, a music festival experience, will take place on Friday and Saturday of each NASCAR weekend at MIS this summer.
Twelve acts, spanning country and alternative rock, along with several EDM Djs will perform at Keloorah.
Keloorah kicks off on Friday, June 12, when country music takes center stage with Montgomery Gentry, Drake White and The Big Fire as well as Tim Dugger. Alternative rock rounds out the June weekend on Saturday, June 13, with American Authors, Bear Hands and IAMDYNAMITE.
NASCAR provides fans the closest access in all of professional sports. On any race weekend fans have the opportunity to walk pit road before the race, attend special autograph sessions or watch as drivers prepare for the race. At MIS, that means standing on the frontstretch during driver introductions for the Quicken Loans 400.
No matter where are during weekend, make sure you take a lot of photos with your friends, family and race fans. And share those photos on twitter using the hashtag #MIStory.
It is so easy and you just might be in the video after the race. Remember – have fun, take photos or video, share socially and then watch the video when you get home.
Michigan International Speedway makes memories for fans of all ages. Now is your chance to showcase those memories to friends and fellow race fans.
And the track has made it even easier for you to share those photos and videos. NASCAR’s fastest track features 12 different hotspots throughout the facility designated for fans to connect to Wi-Fi
Nestled in the lush Irish Hills of Southeastern Michigan, Michigan International Speedway is the Great Escape, a venerable NASCAR national park where fans can get away and enjoy the very best in racing and camaraderie. It’s the love of racing and the thrill of a great time for race fans and drivers alike.
