Rain or Shine, Elkhart Lake still one of his favorites: Disappointment setting in for the second weekend in a row, will not stop Eric McClure and his No. 24 Reynolds Wrap® team, as they have their sights set on one of the Virginia native’s favorite tracks on the schedule. McClure is set to make his sixth NASCAR XFINITY Series start at the 4.048-mile road course. Scoring his best finish of 20th at Road America in last year’s event, McClure is eager for the final road course race of the season.
McClure’s thoughts on Road America: “I’m looking forward to Road America; it is one of my favorite places to race. I really do enjoy road racing and we’ve had a couple good runs at Road America in the past. We’ve had some respectable runs at the first two road courses, until unfortunate circumstances took us out of the good finish we were hoping for.”
