Penske Racing driver Brad Keselowski turned in a lap of 178.874 mph in his No. 2 Miller High Life Ford Fusion on Saturday to secure the top starting spot for Sunday’s Bojangle’s Southern 500. The pole was Keselowski’s first of the season and ninth of his career.
The No. 2 Team Penske Ford carried a throwback paint scheme patterned after Bobby Allison’s championship winning No. 22 Buick Regal in 1983.
Rounding out the top-five were: Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick, Joey Logano, and Jeff Gordon, who will be making his final start at the famed “Lady in Black”
