Kyle Benjamin has announced that he will team up with Lira Motorsports for Friday’s ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Crosley Brands 150 at Kentucky Speedway. It will be the seventeen-year old driver’s 17th career ARCA start, and his first at the Sparta, Kentucky 1.5-mile facility.
Benjamin, who is a Roush Fenway Racing development driver, made his ARCA debut in 2013 at the age of 15. He has two race wins, 11 top ten finishes and one career ARCA Series pole. At the time of his first win in 2013, Kyle made history as the youngest ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race winner.
A member of the NASCAR NEXT program, Benjamin is currently contending for the 2015 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East title. He won the PittLite 125 at Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this year, and is currently ranked 9th in the K&N East driver points standings. The NASCAR NEXT program recognizes future stars of motorsports, consisting of a group of twelve drivers, between the ages of 15-25, that are selected each year through input from executives within the industry and veteran drivers.
Kyle will pilot Lira Motorsports number 36 car in the race.

It’s my first time on one of these mile-and-half tracks, and I believe we’ll have a car good enough to compete for a win. Everything at Lira has been first-rate, including the personnel, which will make us formidable. We only have one goal in mind and that’s to leave Kentucky with a trophy.”
The Crosley Brands 150 will be live on Fox Sports 1 on Friday, September 25th beginning at 8:00pm. Additionally, ARCARacing.com will have live timing and scoring for all on-track activity.
On-track schedule: The ARCA Racing Series drivers will have practice from 12:30-2:00pm. Menards Pole Qualifying Presented by Ansell will start at 4:40pm. The green flag for the Crosley Brands 150 is scheduled for 8:00pm. The race is 150 miles (100 laps).
