Riding with Ryan
American Diabetes Association® Youth Ambassador Isabelle Snyder will ride along with Ryan Reed this weekend. The Colerain, Ohio native will have her name featured on a decal above the passenger-side door on the No. 16 Ford Mustang. Snyder was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in June 2012 at the age of six. Now 10, Snyder is an avid dancer and advocate for those living with diabetes. She brings awareness to the disease by fundraising and participating in events with the American Diabetes Association. She educates her peers about the disease and has even organized a benefit that has raised over $1,800. Snyder is the leader of Isabelle’s Allies, a walk team that participates in the yearly American Diabetes Association Step Out®: Walk to Stop Diabetes®. Her team has raised over $4,500 for the walk.

Reed on Kentucky
“Our No. 16 Lilly Diabetes American Diabetes Association team has really made improvements over the past couple of weeks and I feel confident we will continue on that streak going into Kentucky this weekend. Kentucky isn’t my favorite track but I definitely feel more confident heading there this time after getting a top-15 finish in July and having the extra time on track this weekend in the ARCA race.”
Tune-in
Reed and the rest of the NASCAR XFINITY Series will take the green flag from Kentucky Speedway on Saturday, September 26th at 8 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network and PRN.
