Starting from the pole in the Autumn Colours Classic, Shawn Chenoweth would lead flag-to-flag en route to scoring the victory at Peterborough Speedway. It marks his second straight ACC victory after winning in the Thunder Car division last year.

Following qualifying, Chenoweth would start on the pole ahead of Matt Box, Dwayne Baker, Dan McHattie, Jamie Cox, Billy Schwartzenburg, Ryan Kimball, the 37, Andrew Gresel, Shaun McWhirter, Willie Reyns, Bryan Mercer, Nick Goetz, Bruce Wheller, Kent Nuhn, Mike Wallace, Gord Shepherd and the 11.
Chenoweth would grab the early advantage ahead of Box, though the caution would fly on lap three for Wallace spinning in turn two. With 112 laps to go, Chenoweth led Box, Baker, Cox, McHattie, Kimball, Schwartzenburg, Gresel, the 37, Reyns and McWhirter.
Chenoweth would get another good restart to stay ahead of the field with Box and Baker continuing to run second and third behind him. The caution would then fly on lap 11, though, as Mercer would spin in turn one, virtue of getting loose or possibly due to contact from Shepherd; Goetz would be collected in the process.
Chenoweth would remain in command with another good restart ahead of Box while Cox was able to get by Baker to move into third. Baker would continue to follow back through the green flag run before the red flag came out for Shepherd having a fire in the rear part of his car. He would come down pit road, with the crew addressing the reason. under the red flag, Nuhn would overheat and have to be pushed behind the wall, down for the race. With 91 laps to go, Chenoweth led Box, Cox, McHattie, Gresel, Reyns, Schwartzenburg and McWhirter.
Chenoweth would get another good restart ahead of the field with Box and Cox battling for second. Cox would then move into second on lap 27 ahead of McHattie while Shepherd returned back to the track. Box would continue to fall back through the field before the next caution flew at lap 56 for Wallace spinning Wheeler, collecting Shepherd in the process; Kimball would then spin trying to avoid. With 59 laps to go, Chenoweth led Cox, McHattie, Gresel, Schwartzenburg, Box, Reyns, Baker, Mercer, Wallace, Goetz, the 37 and Kimball.
The restart would bring forth the fifth caution as Mercer would spin Wallace, while Shepherd pulled off, done for the event. The second attempt at a restart brought forth the sixth caution for Reyns tagging Schwartzenburg. The third attempt went smoother, but the caution would fly three laps later for Wheller climbing the wall. With 55 laps to go, Chenoweth led Cox, McHattie, Gresel, Box, Baker, Reyns, McWhirter, Wallace, Mercer and Schwartzenburg.
Chenoweth continued leading with another good restart ahead of Cox and McHattie. Schwartzenburg would then tag Mercer at lap 77, which then resulted in Mercer sending Schwartzenburg for a trip through the grass at lap 84. Both sets of contact resulted in no caution, but both drivers went a lap down to the leader. At the front of the field, the battle for second would heat up with 15 laps to go as McHattie would tag Cox, causing Cox to fall back to seventh.
Shawn Chenoweth would then lead the rest of the way en route to scoring the victory ahead of Dan McHattie, Andrew Gresel, Dwayne Baker, Willie Reyns, Jamie Cox, Matt Box, Ryan Kimball, the 37, Shaun McWhirter, Nick Goetz, Mike Wallace, Bryan Mercer and Billy Schwartzenburg.
